I was surprised at that, too. And can't quite figure out how the speaker is driven off that 33 pentode. It seems to be directly coupled of the output tube.
Wacky stuff!
My guess is that the connection labeled "SP." is actually to the primary of the output transformer. In the old radios this transformer was often mounted on the loudspeaker.
